Another insightful article, JLG. Good times!

Surprises indeed. I was pretty sure I would be craving some costly new Mac Pro desktop I've never been able to afford, with some new M2. Instead by putting Max chips and all those retro connectors on laptops, Apple has rendered its unluggable niche Mac Pro line obsolete. With 120Gbs in USB/Thunderbolt connectivity straight to RAM, does a card cage EXIST that would offer better performance? And with my current laptop valued at $1770 at trade-in, I can easily afford a Pro Max laptop costing double that.

It's like on the Unleashed holiday I finally got the computer I always dreamed of - at a $5K discount.
